Hail, brave travelers and honored kin!
As the autumn winds turn cool and the month of Gormánuður approaches, it is time to prepare your gear, gather your clan, and ready yourselves for an unforgettable weekend at Vasa Park!
Whether you plan to pitch a tent under the stars, feast with old and new friends, or simply wander the bustling market, this survival guide contains everything you need to know before stepping through our gates.
Arrival & Event Schedule
Campers Arrival: Gates open for campers starting Friday at 12:00 PM (Noon).
General Admission Entry: Day-pass holders may enter starting Saturday at 11:00 AM.
Departure: All campers must clear the grounds by 3:00 PM on Sunday.
Camping & Encampment Rules
Bring Your Own Gear: Guests are responsible for bringing all their own camping gear and supplies.
First Come, First Served: Camping spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis upon arrival.
RVs & Trailers: Campers, trailers, and RVs are welcome on the grounds!
Fire Safety: NO inground fires are permitted anywhere on the property. Portable firepits are allowed. Some firewood will be provided on a limited basis, but feel free to bring extra for your firepit.
Indoor Sleeping: Viking Hall will remain open for those who wish to sleep inside the hall the old-fashioned way to escape the cold!
Facilities: Viking Hall will be open 24 hours a day, providing continuous access to indoor bathrooms.
Pets & Service Animals: No pets are permitted on the festival grounds. Service dogs are warmly welcomed.
Parking: Parking is completely FREE for all attendees!
Saturday Night Viking Feast
Living History Experience: Step into an immersive historical harvest feast! Guests are encouraged to bring their own historical tableware, wooden plates, utensils, and table decor to personalize their setup (as many reenactment groups do).
Provided Options: Disposable plates and utensils will also be available for guest use. Candles are welcome to set a warm, historical ambiance at your table!
Separate Ticket Required: The Feast (Saturday evening) requires a separate ticket purchase from general admission. Seating is strictly limited, and feast tickets will be available soon—keep your eyes on the hall news!
Indoor Bar will be open for purchases. Tip your bartenders!
Clan Advice & Survival Tips
Dress in Layers: November weather in the realm can bring crisp days and chilly nights. Dress warmly, layer your garments, and bring extra wool or blankets!
Code of Conduct: Vasa Park is private property. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all clan members, we reserve the right to banish anyone who violates our code of conduct. Respect the land and your fellow travelers!
